The Liberty Pump FL51M is a manual submersible effluent sump pump with a 1/2 HP and 115v motor. This pump is intended to be run using an approved liquid level control or approved motor control with correct rating that matches motor input in full load amperes. No matter what control type is used, be sure that when the Liberty FL51M effluent sump pump shuts off, at least 3-1/2" of fluid is left in the basin so the impeller remains submerged. Semi-open impellers on the Liberty FL51A permit the passage of 1/2" solids without clogging. The Liberty Pump FL51M manual submersible sump/effluent pump is ideal for mid-range applications and designed for STEP systems, liquid waste transfer and higher head de-watering applications.
